Investment management is included in the management charge; transaction costs are included in the fund valuation and are not an additional charge.

If you have a Scottish Widows Personal Pension Account we’ll deduct an ongoing charge which is currently £75 each year (from each account), in monthly instalments of £6.25
The annual management charge and annual expenses are included in the mutual fund prices; a separate ongoing charge figure is not published on the charges guide.
The vast majority of mutual funds are negotiated at a zero initial charge.
Personal pension (workplace pensions are offered separately).
Mutual funds; read the current fund range from the provider's fund list.
Aviva
The annual management charge is scheme-specific: Aviva sets it by the number of members and contribution levels and shows it in the scheme quote, so no single figure is published.
Aviva combines the administration charge and the fund managers' charge into the Total Expense Ratio, shown per plan, plus separate transaction costs.
No member contribution charge is published: Aviva states the scheme's annual management charge is set by member numbers and contribution levels and shown in the quote, and a monthly employer pension charge may also apply (aviva.co.uk/business/workplace-pensions, read 2026-09-22).
Group Personal Pension (workplace).
Read the scheme's fund range from the plan documents.
