Eligibility and lifelong MediSave top-ups

MOH lists Singapore citizens born on or before 31 December 1949 who became citizens on or before 31 December 1986. Its table for 2026 and beyond gives annual MediSave top-ups of S$1,200 for birth years up to 1934, S$700 for 1935–1939, S$500 for 1940–1944 and S$300 for 1945–1949. Outpatient, dental and screening subsidies

Pioneers receive an additional 50% off the remaining bill for subsidised services and medications at polyclinics and public specialist outpatient clinics, with eligible referrals required for specialist subsidies. CHAS common illness subsidies are up to S$28.50 per visit; simple chronic conditions receive up to S$90 per visit capped at S$360 annually, and complex conditions up to S$135 capped at S$540. Simple means one chronic condition; complex means multiple conditions or one with complications. The dental subsidy range effective from Q4 2025 is S$21 to S$625 per procedure. MediShield Life and disability assistance

Pioneer MediShield Life premium subsidies range from 40% to 60% depending on age, regardless of household income or home Annual Value. The Pioneer Generation Disability Assistance Scheme provides lifelong S$100 monthly cash assistance for Pioneers who permanently need assistance with at least three activities of daily living: feeding, washing, dressing, transferring, toileting, and walking or moving around. The CareShield Life participation incentives have ended

MOH lists S$4,000 in participation incentives for joining CareShield Life by 31 December 2023 and S$3,000 for joining from 1 January to 31 December 2024, spread over ten years to offset premiums.
