Income and Annual Value are alternative criteria

All Singapore Citizens are eligible for CHAS. Households with income are tiered by monthly income per person; households without income use the home's Annual Value. Income per person divides gross household monthly income by family members living together. Gross income includes employment and trade income, overtime, allowances, cash awards, commissions and bonuses. CHAS, eligibility (opens in a new tab).

Simple and complex chronic conditions

Under the CHAS Chronic Tier, Green subsidies reach S$28 per simple visit or S$40 per complex visit, capped at S$112 or S$160 yearly. Simple means a single chronic condition. Complex means multiple chronic conditions or a single chronic condition with complications. CHAS, Green subsidies (opens in a new tab).

Orange common-illness and chronic subsidies

Orange provides up to S$10 per common-illness visit, limited to 24 visits per patient per calendar year across CHAS clinics. Under its CHAS Chronic Tier, simple visits receive up to S$50 with a S$200 yearly cap; complex visits receive up to S$80 with a S$320 yearly cap. CHAS, Orange subsidies (opens in a new tab).

Blue common-illness and chronic subsidies

Blue provides up to S$18.50 per common-illness visit, limited to 24 visits per patient per calendar year across CHAS clinics. Its CHAS Chronic Tier allows up to S$80 per simple visit with a S$320 yearly cap or S$125 per complex visit with a S$500 yearly cap. CHAS, Blue subsidies (opens in a new tab).

Healthier SG has a separate chronic tier

For Healthier SG enrollees at enrolled Healthier SG GP clinics, Blue's Healthier SG Chronic Tier provides 75% subsidies without a dollar cap for eligible Standard Drug List and Medication Assistance Fund medicines on the Healthier SG Medication List. Other services and medicines have separate simple and complex yearly caps of S$210 and S$330. CHAS, Blue subsidies (opens in a new tab).
